Four other governors of the South East have yet to congratulate the newly sworn-in Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo three days after he took oath of office.

The governors of Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo are yet to send congratulatory messages to Prof Soludo.

They were also conspicuously absent at his swearing-in ceremony, though Mr Soludo had said that the inauguration would be a low-key one.

Checks by Standardobservers showed that while the Rotimi Akeredolu-led Southern governors forum has welcomed Soludo into its fold, the Dave Umahi-led South East governors forum is yet to congratulate Soludo and welcome him into its fold.

Also, while Governors of Delta and Benue have congratulated Soludo, the governors of Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu and Ebonyi have not individually sent congratulatory messages to their newest colleague.

Soludo was on Thursday, March 17 sworn-in as the sixth democratically elected governor of Anambra State in a low-key ceremony in Awka.
