The Presiding pastor of City of Angels International Ministries, Eneka, Sodje Masodje has been arrested by soldiers from the 6 division of the Nigerian Army, Port Harcourt, over the disappearance of his 20-year-old female lover, Beauty Nwigbaranee.
It was gathered that 20-year-old student of the Rivers State University visited the pastor with her mother’s knowledge on 25th December before she disappeared. All her phone lines have also been switched off.
Family sources said the detained pastor was said to have asked the mother of the missing girl not to tell the father until after days. However, the distraught mother, after waiting effortlessly for the return of her daughter, raised the alarm leading to the arrest of the pastor.
It was gathered that the missing girl’s father invited the military from the 6 division garrison who then took the pastor into custody. Sources said that all effort to get him to confess to her whereabouts has remained abortive
Meanwhile, the lawyer to the family of the missing girl, Gobari Deebom has urged the military authorities to transfer the matter to the Rivers State Police Command for proper investigation.
