The Chidi Ibeh-led faction of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo says that Igbo people will never be intimidated again without fighting back.

The faction said in a statement on Friday that the people of the southeast will never forget about the dark days of 1967, and further called on Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma to have at the back of his mind that Igbos are taking into the record the series of provoking actions against the people of Orlu.

The statement signed by Mkpa Uduma, the Media Adviser to the Secretary-General, said: “The first military airstrike 51 years since the Biafran civil war ended. It will be indelibly remembered that attempts were made to lure the Eastern security network into an arms struggle that must be resisted.

“Ndigbo will never be intimidated again without fighting back, we will never forget about the dark days of 1967/70s.”

“Governor Uzodinma is behind the recently unleashed military force against IPOB to please his paymasters in Abuja,” the group said.
