Anambra State-based Legal practitioners under the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, have taken to the streets to peacefully protest against the kidnap and murder of one of their colleague, Mr Francis Onwuachu.
Onwuachu was the late President General of Omor Community in Ayamelum Local Government Area who was abducted last week by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
His corpse was found a week later after a series of intensive and coordinated attempts by the state government through the various security agencies to rescue him alive.

The lawyers numbering over one hundred were drawn from the seven NBA divisions in Anambra State.
They began the protest at the Anambra State Judiciary Headquarters, Awka, from where they marched to the main gate of Anambra State Government House, Awka.
While condemning the murder of the late PG, they appealed to Governor Willie Obiano to bring the masterminds of the heinous act to book.
The Secretary to the Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu who addressed the lawyers assured them that the state government has already made intense efforts to bring his killers to justice.
He said the governor has pledged that those who want to distort public safety would be made to pay.
