Students of the Odumegu Ojukwu University have begun vacating their homes over the massacre of residents in the Igbariam campus of the university’s campus.
Dead bodies, including that of children, were discovered in the area on Monday morning, causing panic and fear in the community.
The reason for the killing is not yet known but students living around the area were seen evacuating from en masse over fears of an escalation of killings in the community.
