Former deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha has vowed to make Imo State ungovernable for Gov. Hope Uzodimma.

Ihedioha in a leaked phone conversation affirmed that peace can only be restored if only the incumbent governor vacates from office.

According to him: “They should leave the government house for Emeka to come and govern for peace to reign”. They will not succeed so far he is not there as the Governor”.

This revelation is coming days after the former governor was called out by Imolites over the missing N19.63bn LG funds under his 7 months administration which he had approached an Owerri High Court to seek for a perpetual injunction restraining the state government from probing him over the missing funds.

A group known as the Coalition for Justice, Peace and True Democracy fingered him over his alleged involvement in the rising insecurity in some parts of the state.

According to the press release and letter signed by the group for onward transmission to the President through the state governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, they claimed that Emeka Ihedioha and his cronies were sponsoring insecurity in the state and appealed to the President for his immediate arrest to avert further loss of lives and properties in the state.

As at the time of filing this report, Ihedioha has not reacted to the leaked phone conversation.
