It is not news that acclaimed men of God in Nigeria especially, are obsessed with prophecies. More often than not, these prophecies don’t come to pass and this leads to backlash from the public.
Yesterday, a video of a prophecy by a former super eagle’s defender, Taribo West, who is now a pastor went viral. In the prophetic viral video, he claimed that Donald Trump, the 45th US president would defeat Joe Biden by a slim margin.
This prophecy has, however, sparked different reactions from social media with some people mocking the pastor.
In the video, Taribo West said he rightly predicted the election outcome of Edo state and Ondo state but was surprised that that particular video didn’t go viral.
The ex-football star said “before the election in Edo, I said Obaseki would win. Did he win or not? Nobody said it anywhere. Nobody quoted me anywhere. I also said in the Ondo election that Akeredolu would win. Is that true? Did he not win?
“Now I want you put this out there the way I want it. Donald Trump will win the election by a slight split margin over Joe Biden. So, quote me and I want it to be out before time.”
Although the video had been on social media before the US election, it only went viral after the election was concluded with Joe Biden as winner of the election.
