A tanker conveying water to a yet-to-be-identified location has crushed eight persons to death in Enugu.
The incident occurred close to the popular Bush Bar in Nza Street, GRA at about 7:30 pm.
It was gathered that the tanker suffered break failure and ramped into occupants of a minibus, killing all of them at the spot.
Other commuters that sustained injuries were taken to the hospital.
Eyewitnesses said the driver of tanker escaped, forcing onlookers to set it ablaze.
