Mr. C. Don Adinuba, the Anambra State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlighten says people of the state will never return to Egypt again following unprecedented development All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) government has bequeathed on the citizenry.

He said that the people are happy that Anambra has become the most competitive state in Nigeria and has equally received both International and national recognitions than any other state in the country in the last couple of years, adding that having overcome the years which the locusts consumed, Anambra people will not return to the land of Egypt again.

In a statement in Awka at the weekend, Adinuba stated that the emergence of Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo as candidate of APGA in the November 6 governorship election was another milestone in the history of the state because APGA, according to him will further consolidate on its gains to move Anambra forward.

He, however, appealed to the mass media not to create an atmosphere of confusion and rancour with their reportage of the electoral process in the state but ensure that they uphold the social responsibility function of their profession in reporting the political situation in the state and not succumb to the wiles and antics of power mongers.
