Norwegian Medicines Agency says 23 persons have died after receiving covid-19 vaccines.
The agency in a statement said some common adverse reactions may have contributed to a severe course in frail elderly people.
It said it is assessing reports of and suggestions that common adverse reactions to mRNA vaccines, such as fever and nausea, may have contributed to a fatal outcome in some frail patients, Sigurd Hortemo, the Agency’s chief physician said.

He said that several reports of suspected adverse reactions are received on a daily basis and are continuously assessed.
Hortemo said the report did not include patients with unstable or acute illness – and included few participants over 85 years of age.
