The dangers of not facing the issues can be very disastrous and counterproductive. Not facing the issues and truth of the matter, can in most cases, render useless and stupid.
For example; an old man came to power, but he proved to be helplessly weak, mentally ill-prepared, hugely ignorant, educationally barren, sectionally in captivity, and physically sick to carry out the enormous duties as a president of a 21st-century country. His blunders were glaringly obvious even among his die-hard supporters. They regretted him; and as for their support for him, they feel terribly disappointed and disgusted.
Yet, some other group, who genuinely felt disgruntled and aggrieved about the woes that the old man has become,
rather than face the facts and state the truths as it were, decided to go berserk and diametrically departed from the issues. They devoted all their time and energies to dwell on outright falsehoods.
Hear them;
1. The old man is sponsoring Boko haram to Islamize Nigeria, they claim. But, the facts revealed that there are still more Christians in the North by cumulative population than the entire East. That Islam propaganda is quickly deflated. And his VP is still a Pastor.
Even the Secretary of the federation is still not yet a Muslim.
2. The old man wants to Fulanize entire Nigeria they insisted and made this their fundamental objectives and directive principles of their movement. However, when their attention is drawn to the truth that Adamawa state only has 82 different ethnic groups, they immediately saw the folly of that trash. That Fulani may be plenty, but they certainly are just but a little infinitesimal group in the north when juxtaposed with the vast majority of other significant tribes like the Kanuris, Hausas, Nupes and many more of the north.
Talk about shortsightedness coupled with ignorance!
3. Next, they claim the old man is an impostor from Sudan ?? that the ‘Nigerianess’ was dead and buried in Saudi Arabia.
They spent more than 90% of their man-hours in 5 clear years, postulating on the physiology and Physiognomy of the old man. They departed from the substance and diverted all their attention to the study of the systematic correspondence of the old man’s
psychological characteristics to facial features or body structure.
Naim them dey ooooooooooh soteyyyyyyyy. Frustration set in. Lost in the confusion of their own misadventures, they resorted to arms. They claimed they’ll separate away from the country by force of arms. They ended up killing their own people and turning their own region into Somalia of some sort.
Today, the old man is right there in their region despite all their threats. They’ve been demystified, and disgracefully shamed.
