Dr Alloy Chife, a United States-based entrepreneur and philanthropist says blocking the source of livelihood of many in AlaIgbo is an economic sabotage.

Dr Chife stated this while reacting to the sit-at-home directive issued by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, which crippled economic activities in the South East on Monday.

IPOB said the directive became necessary over the detention of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by the DSS.

But condemning the act by the group on his twitter handle, Dr Chife called for an end to the tyrannical impositions of IPOB against the Igbo nation.

He wrote “I want to join other well meaning Igbos and other Nigerians in condemning IPOB’s #SitAtHome

“Blocking the source of livelihood of many in #AlaIgbo is a clear case of economic sabotage.

“Whatever IPOB is fighting for, it’s tyrannical impositions against Ndigbo must STOP”.
