Sit-at-home: 3 passengers, driver killed in Imo

Three passengers and a driver were killed in Imo State on Monday following the sit-at-home directive issued by the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB).

IPOB issued the directive to press home its demand for the release of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is detained by the DSS.

The 3 passengers, a driver were allegedly killed at Nkwogu in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area by unknown gunmen.

The incident according to a source from the area saw 3 of the passengers burnt to death in a transport company vehicle while the driver was allegedly shot to death by the gunmen at the early hours.

Michael Abattam, the Imo State police command spokesman said the incident will be investigated.
