The director-generao of the Scientific Equipment Development Institute (SEDI), Enugu, Professor Samuel Ndubuisi has been shot dead by assailants in Enugu.
Ndubuisi, a Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering was shot dead alongside his police orderly along the Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway opposite the centenary estate on Wednesday evening.
The whereabouts of his driver is not yet known as some eyewitnesses claimed he ran away after driving the black prado jeep into a ditch.
A video trending on the Internet showed the bullet ridden vehicle and the lifeless bodies of the professor and his police orderly.
