Rivers All Progressives Congress, APC gubernatorial candidates, Tonye Cole has presented airtel mifi to nine youths as empowerment.
The mifi were presented during the inauguration of the TonyeCole Media Centre, TCMC at the Rivers APC Secretariat, Port Harcourt.
In attendance was Dr Mrs Sylvia Aneke Cole, the wife of the gubernatorial candidate.
The inaugural meeting of the TCMC volunteers, according to Director General of the group, Dae Steven Deegbara, is to galvanize a decent and strategic media engagement team that will effectively communicate Cole’s and Dr Innocent Barikor’s Governorship agenda to Rivers people.
Among other issues, it was an interactive session where members had the opportunity to suggest ideas on how to develop content and use them to influence the media space and the voting audience to the advantage of the party and candidate in 2023, the group said.
Mrs Cole who is also the Proprietress of TCMC, thanked them for the Commitment that they have shown ever since the creation of the group.
“She, however, in her magnanimity, gifted Nine (9) members of the group with free Airtel Data Mifi’s which according to her, is the first batch in a series”, the group added.
