The Nigerian police have sent 14 armed mobile police units to Owerri, Imo State for special duties.
This was contained in a signal from the Assistant Inspector-General in charge of the mobile police.
The units are drawn from 14 mopol bases across the country.
This comes two days after hoodlums raided the Imo State Police Command Headquarters and the Correctional Centre, freeing over 1800 prisoners.
