Police adopt use of charms to wade-off UGM in Abia

The Abia State Police Command has employed the use of other unconventional methods in crime fighting crime by fortifying one its stations with charms in a bid to wade off attacks by unknown gunmen.

The officers placed the huge charm at check point on St. Finbarr’s/Bende Roads Junction adjacent the Central Police Station (CPS), Umuahia.

The police officers, armed to the teeth were also seen by residents police with the juju as other policemen armed to the teeth were seen stationed strategically around the junction.

The resort to charms followed persistent attacks on police formations in the South East by unknown gunmen whom are alleged to possess charms that stop bullets from penetrating their bodies.

It was gathered that the charm was placed to protect security operatives from the series of attacks perpetrated by unknown gunmen in the state.

According to a police source, “The juju was placed to protect security operatives from the series of attacks by the unknown gunmen and also let them know police can equally fortify themselves spiritually”.
