Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, says there is no repentant terrorist.
Kanu who was commenting on the recently uncovered extremist views of the minister of communications and digital economy, Isa Patami said terrorism is a form of Islamic Ideology as well as a religious duty every Muslim believes in.
He said: “In case you forgot, TERRORISM is a form of #Islamic ideology, as well as a religious duty for every Muslim that believes in JIHAD. Therefore, there can never be anything like a repentant terrorist, not even some Minister named Isa Pantami (@DrIsaPantami). Please guided. I am”.
Patami who has been under fire for his extremist views and embracing renowned terrorist groups like the Taliban and Al-Qaeda claimed he made the remarks when he was young.
However, reports have shown that he expressed those views when he was 33 years old, some when he was 39 years old.
