Onitsha residents burn sit-at-home enforcers alive

Two alleged armed robbers enforcing sit-at-home in Onitsha, Anambra State have met their waterloo as they were burnt beyond recognition by residents.

The incident occurred beside Conoil Filling Station, along Enugu/Onitsha Express road.

According to residents who spoke on the conditions of anonymity, the hoodlums who came on a motorcycle, robbed undisclosed amount of money, phones and other items from some Awada residents.

They also shot severally in the air to scare people before escaping, but unluckily for them,they were given a hot chase, and were captured after the MCC Junction.

The residents placed the motorcycle on top of the hoodlums and set them ablaze.

Some residents who witnessed the incident said the hoodlums were three but one escaped.

They said that they came in the guise of enforcing sit-at-home order.
