A lady identified as Ebele Onochie has been arrested by the Anambra State police command for allegedly killing the husband of her lover.
Onochie allegedly stabbed Ikechukwu Onuma popularly known as Ayaaya Onye Obodo to death after he walked in on her and his wife, Nkem making love in his bedroom.
The incident occurred on Tuesday in Onitsha, the commercial town of Anambra State.
According to neighbours, the deceased was informed of the relationship between his wife and the Onochie and arranged to with neighbours to inform him whenever she visited his house to sleep with his wife.
It was gathered that after the walked in on them, a fight ensured between them. It was in the heat of the argument that the wife’s lover stabbed him in the stomach.
He was subsequently rushed to the hospital but died on the way after losing so much blood.
Neighbours said Onochie fled the scene but was traced and apprehended by the police. The police also arrested the wife of the deceased whom they said was an accomplice in the murder.
