Special Assistant to Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on drainage cleaning, Joe Igbokwe has asked the federal government to declare a state of emergency in the South East.
Igbokwe stated this following the killing of Dr Chike Akunyili, Late Professor Dora Akunyili’s husband by gunmen at Nkpor on Tuesday evening.
According to Igbokwe, “Since the governors and our leaders in the South East are now deaf and dumb, let me say it with all the emphasis in my command that FG should declare a state of emergency in the SE”
