Sampson Uchenna Charles, the National leader of the FOUNDATION For A New Nigeria has debunked claims that he is the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
This follows claims that the businessman is a factional presidential candidate of the party which also has Peter Obi as its presidential candidate.
Uchenna in a statement on Wednesday said: “It has come to my notice this morning that I Sampson Uchenna Charles took Governor Peter Obi to court over the LP presidential candidacy.
“Let it be on record that Peter Obi is an Igbo elder statesman and also my older brother whom I respect and admire.
“I will never do anything to deny our people of Igbo heritage the opportunity to produce the president of Nigeria.
“Labour Party should resolve its own crisis and please I don’t want to be a part of this ugly rumour going around.
“I am currently reinforcing and rebuilding my National Movements (FOUNDATION For A New Nigeria and the SUC Organizations) to keep sensitizing and creating awareness for the youths of Nigeria for the rebuilding of our Nation where equity fairness and justice will reign supreme”
