The home of the Imo State Commissioner for Information and strategy, Declan Emelumba has been attacked by hoodlums in the early hours of Sunday.
Two houses in the compound were also set ablaze by the gunmen.
Emelumba is from Ubulu in Oru West local government area of the state.
Local sources said the hoodlums who attacked the house at about 2 am shot sporadically around the village causing, causing villagers to scamper for safety.
Emelumba who confirmed the attack, said no life was lost.
