Unknown gunmen have attacked the campaign team of the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA for the November 6 Anambra gubernatorial election, Professor Charles Soludo, killing five persons.

Among the killed were the operatives of the Anambra Vigilante Service and an APGA chieftain, Chukwuemeka Nwokenagu popularly known as EZE B.

Three vehicles including one belonging to Obinna Nelson Omenugha, the son of the state’s commissioner for education, Prof Kate Omenugha were set ablaze by the gunmen.

The other truck set ablaze belonged to the vigilante group.
