Ethiopia Airlines begins international flights to Enugu October 1st

Ethiopian Airlines has said it would resume international Flights to the Akanu Ibiam International Airport Enugu from October 1st.

It said on Sunday that the flights would be operated three times a week with B787 Dreamliner.

The airline stopped flights to Enugu in 2019 when the federal government closed the Airport for the repair of the runway.

Announcing the resumption of flights, the Ethiopian Airlines said it will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, its General Manager in Nigeria, Shimeles Arage, said.

The resumption of the ET flight to Enugu would be coinciding with the October 1 Independence Day anniversary.

The GM said the flight to Enugu on that day would reinforce Ethiopian Airlines’ good relationship with Nigeria since the first flight to Nigeria in 1960.

Ethiopian Airlines operates to four Airports in Nigeria; Abuja, Lagos, Kano and Enugu.
