Days after claiming that the event will not record up to two hundred attendees, Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has chickened out, using the police to disrupt the planned two million march for Peter Obi, Labour Party presidential candidate.

Abdullahi Umar Zarma, the organizer of the march said it has been put on hold for security reasons.

In an update on Friday night titled “Kaduna Two Million March for Peter Obi update”, he said “I Abdullahi Umar Zarma the initiator of the Kaduna Two Million March for Peter Obi and my team we are very ready for Kaduna Two Million March but very unfortunate our proposed march has been withheld due to insecurity circumstances.

“I’m optimistic that every problem has a solution there is always way to fix something so rest assured Obidient, all the solutions will be known to you soon. Thank you very much 🙏🙏 I love you all”.

Sources said the organising team was invited by the police and asked to postpone the march for security reasons.

After El-Rufai claimed that not more than two hundred people will attend the march with attendant ethnic slurs targeted at the Igbo, youths began making freewill donations for the success of the march.

A new date is yet to be fixed.
