Arsonists on Thursday morning set the secretariat of the Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State ablaze.
The attackers were said to have used petrol bombs to put fire on building.
It comes days after Governor Chukwuma Soludo said that the state will not yield to criminal elements in the area who have led to losses in revenue and murder of innocent people.
The governor had also directed that economic activities will kickstart in the state on Monday April 4th, 2022.
As at the time of filing this report, it has not been ascertained if there were human casualties during the arson attack.
