Former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Professor Chukwuma Soludo says the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, is the only channel through which Ndigbo can negotiate power.

Soludo, a frontline candidate of APGA for the November 6th gubernatorial election, however, called for unity within the party.

Speaking at an event organised in his honour by the former National Chairman of the party, Senator Victor Umeh, on Sunday, Soludo pleaded for the support of all APGA stakeholders to enable him win the primaries, and the gubernatorial elections.

He noted that APGA is the only means Ndi Igbo can negotiate for national power pointing out the need to sustain the party.

Senator Umeh, who reinstated his support for Soludo, noted that the former CBN governor is an experienced expert who can best manage Anambra Economy.

He however, called on the party to unite and form a common front for the interest of the party, the state and Ndi Igbo in general.

According to him, with the test run of flights at the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Umueri, which he described as the seal of Governor Obiano’s great achievements, Anambra needs a man with capacity to consolidate and take Anambra state to greater heights.
