APC fixes date for Anambra guber primaries

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday announced that its expression of interest and nomination forms for the Anambra State governorship election will cost N22.5 million.

The party has fixed June 26 for its primaries for the November poll.

Prof Usijju Medaner Al-Mustapha, the party’s director of organisation disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, in Abuja.

The statement said sales of forms commenced on April 14 and would end on June 8, which is also the last day for the submission of forms.

Screening of aspirants, according to the party, would begin on June 10 while publication of claims and objections would hold on June 12.

“Female aspirants and persons living with disabilities are however to pay 50 per cent of the prescribed fees,” the party said.
