Azubogu formally joins Anambra guber race, promises to drive growth

Chris Azubogu, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA senatorial candidate for Anambra South says his Young Peoples Party, YPP counterpart, Ifeanyi Uba is afraid of the election.

The House of Representatives member said YPP-hired miscreants stopped him from speaking during a town hall meeting organised by Nzukora Nnewi

According to him, the YPP candidate is jittery and has been trying to intimidate him by employing miscreants in Nnewi.

Azubogu stated that Uba is afraid of the election and has been going about telling people that he is the only one contesting for the position.

He said: “They have been in court trying to stop me. The core aim of politics is development and not philanthropy.

“They are afraid of the election, that’s why they are hiring miscreants to intimidate me”

After reeling out his achievement, Azubogu said going to the Senate would afford him the opportunity to do more for his people.
