Victor Umeh, a former national chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has dumped the party and defected to the Labour Party.
Umeh, a former senator representing Anambra Central also emerged as the senatorial candidate of the Labour Party at a primary election held on Friday.
Umeh emerged unopposed and will face the likes of Senator Uche Ekwunife of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 general election..
