The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma has recognized 15 traditional rulers said to have been unduly sacked by the Emeka Ihedioha’s administration.

Uzodimma said that no government has any right to sack any traditional ruler appointed or elected by his own people, adding that the duty of the Government is to approve traditional leaderships appointed by the people but has no power to disapprove or sack them.

The Ezes who were recognized by the Rochas Okorocha’s administration were sacked by the Ihedioha’s administration.
