Barely two weeks after endorsing the candidacy of Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the November 6th gubernatorial election, the National Association of Nigerian Students has also endorsed Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA for the same race.
NANS had during a courtesy visit on March 29th endorsed Uba for the race.
Soludo, a former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, is expected to emerge as the sole candidate of his party.
Soludo who charged the student body to be innovative on Monday in Awka said that his governorship ambition is anchored on equity, fairness, justice and equitable distribution of resources.
He noted that free and qualitative education remains the best empowerment any serious government can give her citizens.
Members of the association led by the Senate leader, Chuks Okafor advised him to always carry members of the association and all other youth organizations along in his quest to govern Anambra state.
