Orlu crisis: Those who prefer military solutions to Nigeria's problems are a threat to her unity - Obiozor

Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, says those opposing its interests in 2023 will be defeated.

Ohanaeze Ndigbo World-wide’s President-General, Amb George Obiozor, who stated this at the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Day organised by the Uk and Northern Ireland chapter on Saturday in a statement by the spokesperson of the group, Chief Alex Ogbonnia, said the Igbo had experienced various travails in Nigeria but noted that the only option before them was to remain focused, imaginative, audacious, unflappable, and united.

According to him, “As 2023 approaches, we must remain our brother’s keeper. Ndigbo at home have shown tremendous zeal, commitment, and support to the position of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and, therefore, I urge every Igbo to reflect deeply on the Igbo dilemma.

“As I stated in my inaugural speech in 2021, ours is a righteous cause. Those who oppose us will be defeated, for unlike them, we do not seek to dominate, control or humiliate our fellow citizens or fellow humanity.”
