Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) has said terrorist attacks have become too many under the leadership of Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, and that President Muhammadu Buhari is doing nothing to stop the armed Fulani terrorists in the South East.
HURIWA condemned the gruesome murder of a talented dancer, Solomon Chukwudi, who was going to his home in the Southeast from Abuja.
It stressed that this was possible because Uzodimma behaves like a saboteur out to destroy his homeland, considering his unbridled ambition for political power by all means.
HURIWA, in a statement by its National Coordinator, Emmanuel Onwubiko, asked Ohanaeze Ndìgbò to wake up and smell the coffee.
HURIWA wonders if Uzodinma lives on another planet as he is not aware that Fulani terrorists have flooded the forest reserve locations in Imo and adjourning states in Igbo land to execute their agenda of forcefully depriving Igbo people of their lands, and the Buhari administration is aiding these terrorists by its failure to order the armed forces to flush them out.
HURIWA alleged that the President would do nothing to stop the armed Fulani terrorists because his government is in bed with the expansionist agents of destabilisation, some of who came from Chad, Niger and the Central African Republic where the natives displaced them.
The rights group said the President could prove this hypothesis wrong by ordering soldiers to crush the Fulani terrorists in the Southeast forests.
HURIWA recalled that Chukwudi was travelling from Abuja to Aba on Wednesday, June 29, when gunmen attacked the vehicle he was in.
It also blamed the security agents, including the army, police, and the DSS operatives for aiding and abating the terrorists in the South East.
