Stray bullet allegedly fired by soldiers in Aba, the commercial city of Abia State has killed a youth on Monday.
The youth was killed by the stray bullet while sitting by the roadside.
The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, while reacting to the killing, demanded the prosecution of the soldiers.
Simon Ekpa, the self-styled disciple of the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, gave Okezie Ikpeazu, the Abia State Governor 24 hours to arrest and prosecute the soldiers.
He said: “Abia state Governor, you will be held responsible for this killing. He was killed by a soldier today in Aba Abia State.
“He did nothing other than sitting by the roadside, and was hit by bullet from the soldier. The Abia gov. have 24h to provide the army killer, arrest & prosecute”.
