South-East presidential aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Sunday met behind closed-door.
The meeting which was held at the Maitama home of the lawmaker representing Imo West Senatorial District, Senator Rochas Okorocha, had in the former Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba; former Science and Technology minister, Ogbonnaya Onu, ex-Senate President, Ken Nnamani and the party’s female presidential aspirant, Mrs Uju Ken-Ohanenye.
Dave Umahi, the governor of Ebonyi was absent during the meeting as he was seen in the home of Anambra-born billionaire, Arthur Eze.
The aspirants, however, agreed to work with any one of them picked by the ruling party to fly its presidential flag come 2023
They also reacted to the zoning formula, saying they hope the APC will do the right thing by giving the presidential ticket to the southern part of the country.
According to them, there is no division among the aspirants from the South-East.
