Just In: Police arrest Marksman Ijomah, Chinmark investment scheme founder

A staff of the doomed investment firm, Chinmark Group of Companies has said some of their investors are threatening to commit suicide or assassinate them.

Isaiah Chukwudi Samuel who worked at the Kaduna branch of the crashed investment firm, however, in an open letter urged ex-staff and current staff of the firm to storm Enugu and demand answers from its founder, Marksman Ijomah Chinedu.

He added that Mr Marksman is taking the staff for granted and has refused to address them since the company failed to meet up with its financial responsibilities to its investors.

His open letter reads

Dear Chinmark Ex-staff and staff,

Attention:

It has become very necessary I write this open letter to address us.

The recent reality surrounding our organization calls for responsibility and not blind loyalty.

I have never chatted or spoken to Mr. Marksman Chinedu Ijiomah privately but I was very diligent with my responsibilities as his staff.

I worked for him with a clear concience and if tomorrow I happened to own a company, I will be grateful to have my staff replicate all I did for Chinmark Group.

Just sometimes in January after being admitted in the hospital twice without salary since November 4th at the time, one of my clients was over paid with amount above half a million.

During this same period, I was robbed by a suspected criminal and was in police and later court in a bid to get my stolen property (a borrowed laptop) back from the suspect.

Trust me, it was very tempting to suggest to the client not to refund the money to the company and give me a cut out of the cash to sort personal issues, rather, I informed the right authorities who gave me document for refund which I forwarded to the God-fearing client.

She refunded the money while I was very hungry.

Kaduna branch which is my place of primary assignment did not enjoy any giveaways. We were paid lesser salary as well.

This did not deter me from doing my job well and representing the brand in good light.

Until very recently, you would attest that I have been defending this brand like it’s my father’s.

I was never doing the normal eye service of tagging Boss to get noticed. I only celebrated him on his birthdays.

I did not call him Papa, Daddy or those pet names because to me, they were not necessarily.

In all this, you will never see me write or consider myself as a loyalist, this is because the concept of loyalty was/is abused by most Chinmarkians.

Now, the reason I wrote this preamble is because of what I’m about to write and some suspected criminals who will soon question my loyalty.

Well, I’m loyal with my clients. Without them, I will be sacked long ago. So, I owe them my loyalty.

I’m writing this from a place of responsibility and my promise to my clients that I will do whatever it takes legitimately with our company to get them paid.

At this juncture, I’m calling on all of us to press home our demand for accountability.

Obviously, Marksman Chinedu Ijiomah is taking all of us for granted. All efforts to get him address us have been futile.

All I do is to go through my timeline to get information of what is happening in our company.

This is bad and gives approval to all the names and allegations against his person.

I’m suggesting that we all go down to Enugu and have him address us.

He owes us accountability and he can’t just leave us with our clients to cry.

Some of us are on hide and scared to move freely because of threats.

Some clients are going diabolical against us and their actions are justified.

The puppets we used to have as management have been stripped off their power. They can’t address us at the moment.

Chinmark has messed up our clients’ mental health and ours as well.

Some of my clients are threatening suicide and their husbands, divorce.

We can’t leave them to suffer.

We must make requisite sacrifice by storming Enugu to get him address us.

Admittedly, Marksman has been giving us a lot inconsistent statements.

He is not clear, articulate and straightforward since this issue started.

We need to show our clients that we don’t take their trust for granted. We need to help them.

If we can get at least twenty staff and ex-staff to volunteer for this mission at personal cost, trust this to give us clarification on the whole issue.

I’m looking forward for the like of Queen Precious Chiamaka , King Stanley , Onyegbule Queen and others to join me to reach out to other concerned staff to organize this movement.
