Protests on Friday rocked some parts of Imo state, against the former governor and current senator representing Imo West senatorial district in the national assembly, Rochas Okorocha.
Okoroacha has been embroiled in a political fight with the current governor, Hope Uzodimma after the state government sealed a property belonging to his wife, Nkechi.

The protests started with the people of Omuma and neighbouring communities in the Oru East local government area of the state.
The protesters asked the senator to stop causing confusion in the state and allow Uzodimma to continue steering the affairs of the state.
They added that the state is safe under Uzodimma, whom they likened to M.I Okpara.
