Priest resigns to set up polygamy support movement

Rev Ogbuchukwu Makuo Lotanna, a priest in Nnewi Anglican Diocese has resigned from priesthood over his desire to kick-start a movement for the support of Polygamy.

According to Reverend Ogbu Chukwu, Polygamy is not bad thing as has been portrayed, adding that he has taken his time to discover the truth about Polygamy, which the Church has been hiding for a very long time.

The former priest also claimed that he has received a divine mandate from God to kick off a movement in support of Polygamy called ‘Gideonites’ and that their place of worship will be called ‘Gideonites temple’, Nnewi City reports.

The former Anglican who is equally legal practitioner also advised men to marry their side chicks instead of sleeping around with women who they’re not married to, adding that such will help in reducing sexual sins.

He stressed that what God hates is unnecessary divorce and not Polygamy.

Reverend Ogbuchukwu hails from Mbanagu in Otolo, Nnewi and married to Chinyere Abigail from Achara in Awka North local government area of Anambra state.

The Nnewi Anglican Diocese is yet to react to the development as of the time of filing this report.
