Popular Gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu is dead

Popular Gospel Singer most notable for the soul-lifting worship song, Ekwueme, Mrs Osinachi Nwachukwu, has died.

Nwachukwu died on Friday from prolonged illness. She is said to have been hospitalised for over two months.

Osinachi Nwachukwu, a singer and songwriter shot to limelight in 2017 after featuring in “Ekwueme” by Prospa Ochimana. She has also featured in songs like “Nara Ekele” by Pastor Paul Enenche and “You no dey use me play” by Emma.

As at the time of filing this report, the cause of her death is not yet known.

Mr Nwachukwu was born in Enugu on November 11, 1976. She hailed from Isiochie, in Abia state. She had her early upbringing in the city of Enugu, under the mentorship of Pst. A.k.A Ogene, who raised her in integrity and the fear of the Lord.

Her music journey began when she served as a vocalist in an acappela group, Glorious Singers, in Enugu state. Haven stayed there for years, she journeyed down to the city of Abuja when she got married to her wonderful Husband ,Mr Peter Nwachukwu which marked a new phase in her music ministry.

She submitted under the ministry of her spiritual father, Paul Enenche, the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Christian Centre and her music ministry received visibility, influence, and has blessed millions of lives.

Osinachi Nwachukwu dedicated her life to kingdom business, with a sincere desire to see God glorified and lives transformed through the influence of music.

She is survived by her husband and four children.
