The Chief Executive Officer of DA Trading and Capital Investment Nig. LTD, Apostle Daniel Douglas has allegedly absconded after defrauding some residents of Rivers State.
The sketchy report has it that the CEO has been declared wanted by security agents, following complaints by those he had defrauded.
Meanwhile, the owner of the office building where Apostle Douglas operates had warned the public to exonerate the premises from the activities of DA Trading and Capital Investment Nig. LTD.
The warning was contained in a public notice conspicuously pasted in front of Apostle Douglas’ office and signed by the Solicitor of Sui Generis Chambers, Barr B.E Loolo.
The notice was quoted in parts as saying that, “the general public is hereby informed that our client, Engr Goodluck Offorji is the owner of the entire property at No. 5 Dr Okey Onuchukwu Avenue Off Obi Wali Road, Port Harcourt.
“That the property does not belong to DA Trading and Capital Investment Nig. LTD.
“That any person having any right, claim or invest in DA Trading and Capital Investment Nig LTD by way of Investment or otherwise howsoever should kingly direct his or her claims to the officials of DA Trading and Capital Investment Nig. LTD.
“That the general public is hereby also informed that the mentioned property is not for sale as our client has no intention to sell same.”
While lamenting on how he was defrauded by DA Trading and Capital Investment Nig LTD, a Port Harcourt resident, Santos Owolo told our correspondent that his N300,000 has been trapped with the firm.
He said, “I borrowed N300k from Access Bank and invested it with Apostle Douglas’ DA Trading and Capital Investment Nig. LTD.
“For months now, I have not seen my interest as agreed neither have I seen my capital.
“Same Apostle Douglas that used to pick my calls or respond to my text messages no longer does.
“I am seriously into financial hardship as the bank is pressuring me to pay back the money I borrowed which I have been forfeiting half of my monthly salary into.”
