Police kill five hoodlums during attack on station in Anambra

The police in Anambra have killed five hoodlums during an early morning attack on 33 police station in Onitsha, the commercial nerve of the state.

The attack came barely 24 hours after hoodlums attacked the Ogidi Police station in Orumba North, killing three officers and setting part of the station ablaze.

Police sources who spoke on the condition of anonymity said the hoodlums also killed a tricycle operator before they were neutralized by officers.

He said two AK 47 and Sienna van were recovered from them.
