Despite donating N500 million to Sokoto state over the fire incident which razed down the State’s central market, and spending billions to procure state-of-the-art houses and cars for judges, and federal and state lawmakers, secondary school students in Governor Nyesom Wike’s village learn under terrible conditions.
Wike is from Rumuepirikon in Obio-Akpor local government.
The school, Community Secondary School Rumuepirikon is also far from where the governor built a gigantic mansion.
Citizen Journalist, Eco Omenma who visited the community school on Monday took pictures of the descript classrooms where students learn on while sitting on the floor, or sitting on the windows due to the absence of chairs and desks.
The school also lacked whiteboards for effective teaching.
The pictures which have gone viral on social media re-ignited debates over the state of education in the state.
