Olisa Metuh, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Anambra State says that Nigerians are looking for a leader they can believe and trust.
The former National Publicity Secretary of the PDP said 2023 election is not just about competence or excellence but just all about trust.
“Our new leader does not have to be the best but at the least, he should be someone that can bring back hope.
“Someone that can stop the monumental fraud and corruption in our nation, someone who is stubborn enough to say no to the wrongs and at the same time attempt a holistic change.
“We need a symbol, just a symbol and we will make our individual and collective sacrifices, needed for a new nation. Intriguingly, Nigerians from all parts of the country believe Mr Peter Obi to be that symbol.
“I am tired of explaining that Senior Peter is more formidable as a candidate than he looks as an aspirant.
“Only a consensus, just a consensus. “WHEN THE COME COMES TO BECOME” WE JUST NEED A CONSENSUS”.
