State Police will not solve Nigeria's security problems - Chimaraoke Nnamani

Chimaroke Nnamani, the Senator representing Enugu East Senatorial District in the National Assembly under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has been included in the All Progressives Congress, APC presidential campaign council.

Nnamani, a two-term governor of Enugu between 1999 to 2007 is currently working to install his stooge and former Commissioner for finance, Peter Mbah as governor of Enugu State under the PDP platform.

It was not immediately clear if Nnamani’s name was included in the APC presidential campaign council in error but he had in the past praised the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, describing him as a friend.

The latest development indicates that the trouble in the PDP following the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as its presidential candidate was far from over.

Nnamani had in July gone into a social media frenzy with attacks on the supporters of the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi.

According to him, he will not allow Labour Party to take over the governance of Enugu State which is currently under the PDP’s administration of Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
