MBA forex investors take protest to EFCC headquarters

Aggrieved investors in the collapsed MBA forex trading and capital investment company are set to protest to the head office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The scheme crashed in November 2020, bleeding investors of over N171 billion, according to a document published by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.

According to a notice published by the aggrieved investors and made available to newsmen, they will demand the arrest of Maxwell Odum, the founder of the scheme and other key directors.

Several suits filed by the investors against Odum have stalled in court following Odum’s refusal to appear in court.

The CBN had in February obtained an order from the Federal High Court, Port Harcourt, freezing about 39 accounts belonging to the company.
