Gunmen suspected to be assassins on Sunday attacked the convoy of the Senator representing Anambra South in the national assembly, Ifeanyi Ubah, killing no less than seven persons including police officers and his aides.
The convoy was attacked at Nkwo Enugu Ukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Ubah who escaped unhurt had his bulletproofed vehicle riddled with bullets.
