Just In: Police arrest Marksman Ijomah, Chinmark investment scheme founder

Marksman Chinedu Ijomah, the chairman of Chinmark Group, an investment scheme has assured investors that he would not abscond with their funds.

Investors had called for the arrest of Marksman Ijomah and Amanda Chisom, , its global ambassador who helped lure thousands into the scheme.

Over 10,000 investors deposited more than N10 billion into the scheme but have not received the return on investments for months.

But Marksman in a notice titled “Public Notice to Chinmark Partners” said it is still committed to returning their capitals.

“Thank you for holding on and staying true to your faith in us as a brand. We do not take it for granted. What matters is our commitment to you, our partners, and we are committed to returning every partners’ capital to them.

“We have done poorly with communications in the past. Our resolve is to upgrade the quality of communications as well as its frequency to keep partners intimated on our progress.

“We will do better in the areas of customer communications and general communications on our services.

“As we approach March 19, 2022, which has been slated for the commencement of partnership payment and publication on further plans by the Brand, we wish to use this medium to say a very big “THANK YOU” to all our partners for their patience so far.

“Please, note that Chinmark Group will NEVER compromise the funds of any partner in any way. Your funds remain safe and secure as it has been from the beginning.

“Thank you for trusting the Chinmark Brand. We do not take it for granted, and once again, we reassure you that your funds are safe as always”.
