Labour Party’ Presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi has asked Nigerians to hold him responsible if he does not fulfil his campaign promises.
Speaking during a campaign tour in Makurdi, the capital of Benue State on Wednesday, Obi said that his administration will restore the agricultural glory of Benue if elected into power.
He said that despite the huge potentials in different parts of the country, successive leaders have mismanaged them.
According to him, his administration will be closer to the people as the people are the government.
He said “when I enter office, you don’t have to come to Abuja if you have issues. We will come to you. You are the government”.
Obi also promised to restore security in the state and ensure that those in the IDP camps relocate back to their communities.
